About the Event
Radiothon
Radiothon is a live, on-air fundraising event, presented in partnership with 106.9 The Eagle and Connoisseur Media, that brings our community together through storytelling and giving to support local children and families.
As we celebrate Variety’s 40th anniversary, we’ll share 40 stories highlighting the children and families at the heart of our mission.
Radiothon also supports our Annual Bike Giveaway, providing brand-new bikes and helmets to local fourth-grade students nominated by their teachers throughout the Coachella Valley.

More Than A Bike
Each year, fourth-grade students nominated by their teachers throughout the Coachella Valley receive a brand-new bike and helmet through Variety’s Annual Bike Giveaway.
For many children, it’s their very first bike and a moment filled with confidence, independence, and joy that they’ll remember for years to come.
