Happy New Year, Friends!  

I wanted to share with you about Angelika, our first adaptive bike recipient of 2021!  

Angelika has been through a long list of extraordinary health challenges in her 15 years of life and as a result, prefers to stay indoors without much physical activity or social interaction. Angelika touched my heart with her quiet ways when we first met, and to watch her light up and take off on her adaptive bicycle was wonderful. The adaptive bike we provided to her will truly be transformational to her health and wellness. Angelika told me, “I used to be a home person, until today.”  

Mom shared this, “We are both truly thankful for finding Variety. We appreciate you working with us in helping my child feel comfortable while exercising and fulfilling my child’s full potential in life. You must enjoy making kids smile with the help you assist them with. Maybe my child and I can help volunteer one day to show the power of giving. Take care. P.S. Angel says she feels stronger already lol”
